Radical Collaboration and Reciprocity

The making is done in both the expressive and the representational modes. The mediums used are primarily include painting, drawing, sewing, digital.  An experimental process (discovered in at Johnson State College while getting an MFA) using my rollerblades directly on the canvas, became a conduet for my emotions and body allowing me to externalize the ideas that were previously internalized.  Recently, the artists, engineers, and digital people at the Generator have altered my process which is based on experiences living in community in Johson, VT, Prague, Czech Republic and in Burlington, VT.  For example, the color, climate and culture of these places are influenced by nature and human nature. Using painted surfaces, sometimes sewing combined with tools, new skills on our laser cutter, each step in the prosses leads directly to another.  This relates to truth and sense of justice, in a sense, that emotions are internalized, realized and can be shared as a work of fine art if intended.
